Course objectives:
The aim of the subject is to complete the online course (so-called MOOC) Elements of AI (https://course.elementsofai.com/cs/). This course provides students with elementary information about all important aspects of artificial intelligence, starting from historical contexts, through accessible yet technically precise explanations of fundamental algorithms used in artificial intelligence, to considerations of the possible impacts of AI on human society.
Requirements on student
The basic requirement is to provide a certificate of course completion issued directly by the online course provider. To obtain the certificate, it is necessary to complete at least 90% of the tasks, with at least 50% of them answered correctly. Another essential condition is participation in a one-time seminar led by the course guarantor at the University of West Bohemia (ZČU), where participants reflect on their experiences with the completed course.
