Course objectives:

The purpose of the course is to ensure that student can:
- independently analyse and delimit the problem
- ctitically evaluate possible approaches to solve the problem
- work with technical literature and demonstrate obtained knowledge and acquirements
- find relevant scientific method to solve problems
- critically evaluate obtained results
- present solved problems orally and in written form

Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements:
Elaboration of a written report and specification of obtained results.
Presentation and defence of the written report.

Content
|
Individual project within the scope of program oriented education centred on problem solving in the area of system theory, signal processing, automatic control, artificial inteligence and the like.
The project can be oriented to industry applications, scientific research or education.
Under the guidance of the supervisor the student solves the problem, compexity of which corresponds to the degree of obtained knowledge.
The stress is laid on self study and independent work of the student.
