Course objectives:

Introduce students to actual legislation in the domain of unmanned flying and with construction and operation of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)
|

Content
|
Introduction to UAV (types, parameters, usage, and peripheries aboard)
Introduction to actual legislation (flight regulations, the X attachment, Institute for civila aviation, EU EASA)
Documentation (pilot logbook, airplane logbook, service logbook)
Pilot training on simulators
Dynamic flight demonstrations of UAV, activities of the realisation team
Flight planning (creation of the flight plan)
Before-flight preparation (UAV, check procedures, communication, meteo, etc.)
Flight training on an UAV in the student-pilot mode (DJI F450, DJI INSPIRE)
Construction of the UAV (construction, electronics, settings, test, test-fly)
Aerial works (aerial inspections, photogrammetry, laser scanning, thermovision, multispectral/hyperspectral camerasm precission agriculture, integrated rescue system, photo/movie)
Resources for aerial works (process of records of a UAV, records of a pilot, flight manual, achievement of aerial works permit)
