Course objectives:
The main aim of the course is to give students an overview of current topics and issues which are studied in geometry. Besides the necessary theory the course is focused mainly on demonstrating applications of these methods in practice.
Requirements on student
During semester, students have to elaborate a seminar paper and present it at the end of the semester within the class (25 minutes presentation). The final exam combines written part and oral part. After completing the written part, the oral part covers analysis of the written part and additional questions.
