Course objectives:

To prove that students grasp the interdependencies of their study subject, that they can use scientific methods and findings, and that they have gained the necessary expert skills and knowledge to move into professional practice, or to further study.

Requirements on student
|
An active approach to the preparation of the thesis and its writing down according to the requirements. Credits are awarded after the thesis has been submitted and approved by the supervisor.

Content
|
It consists of the oral subject examination and the usual duration is appx. 15-30 minutes. The rules are given by the Study and Examination statute and other regulations. During his/her preparation to this exam, the student can attend individual or group tuitions organized by the guarantors of particular disciplines concerning the exam topics. Main topics of the examination are announced by the Department of Mathematics annually.

The course is offered to the students of the study field Financial Informatics and Statistics. A student may take the final Bachelor exam after he/she has met all requirements given in the Study and Examination Statute and other regulations. |
