Course objectives:

Through the exam, the students shall demonstrate that they grasp the interdependencies of their study subject, that they can use scientific methods and findings, and that they have gained the necessary expert skills and knowledge to move into professional practice, or to further study.

Requirements on student
|
All assessment tasks will assess the learning outcomes, especially, the ability to provide logical and coherent proofs of theoretical results, to apply them and to analyze and solve specific problems (e.g. related to the Bachelor Thesis).

Content
|
The course is offered only to the students of the study fields guaranteed by the Department of Mathematics who plan to finish their bachelor studies in relevant academic year. It consists of the oral exam evaluated by the examination board. The rules are given by the Study and Examination statute of the University of West Bohemia.
During his/her preparation to this exam, the student can attend individual or group tuitions organized by the guarantors of particular disciplines that concern the exam topics.
The topics of the examination are announced by the Department of Mathematics annually.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
A student may take the final Bachelor exam after he/she has met all requirements given in the curriculum design of the appropriate study filed set up by the Department of Mathematics and all rules contained in the Study and Examination state of the University of West Bohemia. |
