Course objectives:

Didactic analysis of basic sections of secondary school mathematics. Their evolution and
effective didactic explanation.

Requirements on student
|
Active participation in tutorials. Semestral project on a given topic.
The (combined) exam in the scope of delivered lectures during semester.

Content

1. Introduction to the main problems of the subject DIM2.
2. Sets, relations, mappings of sets in the secondary school mathematics.
3. Real numbers, numeric computation and computer technology.
4. Complex numbers.
5. Basic knowledge of algebra.
6. Functions and their applications.
7. Equations and inequalities.
8. Infinite sequences of numbers and infinite series.
9. The basics of combinatorics.
10. Probability calculus and calculus of statistics.
11. Differential calculus at secondary school (limits and continuity of functions,
derivative).
12. Integral calculus at secondary school (primitive function, indefinite integral,
definite integral).
13. Mathematical structures and the role of axiomatic method at secondary school
mathematics.

rozumět středně pokročilým teoriím z různých oblastí matematiky (matematická analýza, algebra, aritmetika, geometrie, statistika atd.) |
orientovat se v základních metodách obecné pedagogiky, psychologie a pedagogické psychologie |
rozumět moderním metodám didaktiky matematiky |
orientovat se v českém školském systému a jeho historickém vývoji |
vysvětlit význam matematických úloh, aplikací a didaktických her ve vyučování matematice |
rozumět problematice rámcových a školských vzdělávacích programů |

orientovat se ve formulování, analýze, řešení a diskusi problémů, jež se objevují v odborné matematice, a následně tyto reálné problémy formou vhodných zjednodušení převést do výukového procesu |
rozumět metodám řešení matematických úloh se zaměřením na středoškolskou matematiku |
