The aim of the final state examination is to verify that a student successfully passed the part of the degree course given by prerequisites, that he/she can actively use and apply mathematical methods and knowledge of part given by prerequisites, that he/she gained the necessary expert skills and knowledge to move into professional practice, or to further studies. In addition, presentation and argumentation skills are also aimed.

Content
The rules are given by the Study and Examination statute and other regulations. Content and topics of the examination are set so that to comprise integrating topics of prerequisite courses. Topics of the examination are announced by the Department of Mathematics annually.
