Course objectives:
|
The purpose of this course is better understanding of the following areas : basic matrix operations, functions in R1, differential calculus in R1 and their applications.
The course is recommended for KMA/ZM1.

Requirements on student
|
It is necessary to obtain at least 50% points.

Content
|
Sets and symbols. Number systems. Intervals and interval notation.
Operation with algebraic expression, simplify expression and numerical expression evaluation.
Vectors, matrix and system of linear equations.
One-variable calculus: linear functions, quadratic function, polynomial and rational functions, exponential function and logarithms.
Concept of limit, properties of limits.
Derivatives and applications of derivatives.
