Course objectives:

Purpose of the couse is show to students mathematical principles and ideas of basic algorithms in numerical mathematics, mathematical analysis, geometry, etc. with using knowledges of mathematics on intermediate school level. Student obtain information about computing errors, principles of finite precision computation, expoitation of the internet and software, namely Matlab and Mathematica.

Problems in computing, unstable recursions, errors, conditioning, stability. Application in geometry, fractal structure. Ideas of iteration methods, derivation, integration and optimalization. Floating point number system. Symbolic operations. Internet as a source of informations and sw. Use of software Matlab and Mathematics.
