Course objectives:
This course helps to improve basic informations in the projection methods. The content is focused not only on projection of spatial object, but also on reading of drawing.
Requirements on student
Students will produce selected graphic work for the practicum in weeks 7 and 12 of the class (Dates are tentative, to be adjusted by the instructor).
The selection will be made by the instructor from previously published assignments. Correctness of construction and graphic design will be assessed.
Credit will be awarded on the basis of a score of at least 3 points for each graphic work and at least 11 points in total for both graphic works.
In the case of distance learning, the conditions will be adjusted.
Content
- Conic, design curves, tangent conics.

Prerequisites
Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
Basic knowledge in spatial geometry (stereometry), as usual in secondary school. |
Learning outcomes
Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Projection of basic geometrical element (points, lines, planes, plane shapes) in Monge projection (or axonometry). Student has very good knowledge and skill to solve basic steps of constructive problems (distance, angle, simple solids). |
