Course objectives:
In the course, the student gets acquainted with the creation of digital civil documentation from a simple 2D form to more complex 3D drawing. In the introduction will be briefly mentioned the history of documenting and indicated the rapid development associated with the progress of PC in recent decades. The available software of CAD systems will be also introduced. The main goal of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of design works in civil engineering with the use of basic and advanced CAD systems. During the semester, the student will gain a comprehensive overview of the creation of drawings in the basic and then in the advanced CAD system (including specialized subsystems). Finally, the student will have basic knowledge of the use of CAD systems in the design of building structures and the creation of outputs at the appropriate level.
Requirements on student
Successful passing of two tests and submission of results at the appropriate quality in the specified formats to an external storage.
