Course objectives:
|
The main goal is independent creative complex activity in the field of design, realisation, controlling and management of modern buildings.
The emphasis is on:
- design and selection of a suitable solution of the bulding and its structures using modern materials and technologies,
- use of computer technology and proffesional software to design and optimize selected solutions,
- perceiving the usefulness and flexibility of the building and optimize its investment and operating costs as well as internal environment in view of possible future modifications,
- presentation of designed solutions and results of the work.

Requirements on student
|
Regular consultations with the supervisor of the diploma thesis connected with the ongoing development evaluation. Presentation of diploma thesis according to individual requirements of the supervisor.

Content
|
Preparation of materials and input analyses of solved problems of the chosen field of expertise.
Research of literature and other sources, similar solutions from practice.
Studies and design of variant solutions.
Choosing the optimal solution and its optimization.
Elaboration of diploma thesis, argumentation of final solution.
Preparation of presentation of diploma thesis.
