Content
|
1. History and present of engineering experiment. Importance of experiments in the age of sophisticated computational methods.
2. Experiment classification. Experiment stages from the beginning to the evaluation.
3. Creation of non-engineering objects, experiment as a control means, as a source of data.
4. Experiment utilization in mechanics.
5. Basic terms in experimental branch.
6. Experimental chains, structure of measuring, loading, and exciting chains. Evaluation chains.
8. Errors in the measuring process and data processing.
9. Measurement uncertainty, standard uncertainty, uncertainty computation.
10.Measurement at real objects, at models. Fundamentals of model similitude.
11.Measurement of very small deformations and displacements. Velocity and acceleration measurement.
12.Instrumentation. Measurement demonstration.
13.Industrial visit. Will be included any time of the term, depends on experimental laboratories offer
