Course objectives:
The target of the course is to explain formulations of essential and frequently solved problems in the structural optimization with criteria related to their stiffness, strength, or mass. The students will get survey and learn approaches and principals of methods based on the mathematical optimization so that they will be able to solve standard applications using software nowadays available.
Requirements on student
Active knowledge of the lectured subject and the ability to apply theory in the analysis of simpler problems.
