Course objectives:

The students will understand the specific procedures for the preparation of constructions and their realization.
|
Requirements on student
|
Requirements for credit:
The student will elaborate and hand in a semestral project of an adequate level.
Credits from the subject KME/PŘS obtained in previous studies are not acknowledged
Requirements for exam:
Active knowledge of the content of the course, ability to apply the knowledge to solve practical exercises.

Content
|
1st week: Preparation and management by the supplier (construction company) ? steps to obtain a commission, participation in a selection procedure (offer-based or demand-based) done by the investor or developer.
2nd week: Preparation of an offer. Completion of a offer ? stating the construction?s price.
3rd week: POV ? plan of the organization of the building process, contract for work, payment calendar.
4th week: Realization of a construction ? main activities for the preparation of the production.
5th week: Site equipment. Handing over the building site, necessary energetic requirements, provisory objects, temporary public soil occupation.
6th week: Commissions ? activities of the sub-contractors, criteria for selection, deciding ? actualized time plan, budget.
7th week: Time plan of the construction. Operative management of the construction, operative plan ? necessary material, machinery and workers in time, dispatcher management. Specification of the preparation of the main types of constructions ? buildings, constructions for transportation, water constructions.
8th week: Active elements ? people directly influencing the management of the construction, duties of the project manager, of the main site manager, of the site managers, of the foremen.
9th week: Knowledge of the legal regulations and requirements for investment constructions ? main principles of work safety, environment protection, working with people, motivational approaches, the Labor Code and social problems.
10th week: Developer?s approach to the realization of constructions, project manager, principles for the evaluation of economic effectiveness of investments, total duration of the construction process (including costs for operating, reparations and removal of the construction).
11th week: Documents influencing the management of the construction. Construction diary, reports of the systems of quality management, work safety documents, environment protection documents, documents of the coordinator for work safety (act nr. 309/2006 of the Law).
12th week: Controlling the construction process ? production invoices, planned and real costs, necessary documents for claims, taking over and handing over the work, taking over and handing over the construction.
13th week: Final evaluation of the construction. Final calculation of the activities.
