Course objectives:
|
The second part of a two-semester project. The aim is to acquaint students with a comprehensive and analytical approach to the design and optimization of new buildings and its practical application.
Scope of submitted work:
- drawings of at least 5 representative details
- assessment of static reliability of the load-bearing system - numerical model of a selected part of the structure, detailed design and assessment of 3 selected load-bearing elements
- numerical assessment of heat conduction, surface temperatures and condensation of 2 chosen details
- concept of fire safety solution of the building
- concept of technological process of construction, situation of construction site equipment, construction schedule
- elaboration of a seminar work on a selected theoretical topic
|
Requirements on student
|
Requirements for credit:
Students will create semester work in a satisfactory quality and will present it to the public.
|
Content
|
Independent project in the framework of modern program-oriented teaching with a focus on solving problems of construction practice. The student will process complex problem of construction practice using the knowledge gained from the study on an appropriate level. In the second semester of the two-semester course, the concept of the medium-sized building will be completed.
1. - 12. Continuation of work from the previous semester. The work will include the following steps:
- continuous optimization of the overall solution of the building, including final-assembly structures and concept of building technical equipments
- processing of 5 selected details - drawings in scale 1: 2 - 1:10, analysis of their static and building physical parameters, optimization of solution
- detailed thermal-technical analysis of 2 selected details - numerical assessment of 2D / 3D heat conduction, surface temperatures and moisture condensation, evaluation of achieved properties
- assessment of static reliability of the load-bearing system - design and verification of a numerical model of a selected part of the structure, detailed design and assessment of 3 choces load-bearing elements
- elaboration of the concept of the fire safety solution of the building, division into fire sections, assessment of selected fire sections, drawings of the concept of the fire safety solution - in coordination with the subject POS6
- analysis and optimization of the technological process of construction, processing of basic technological documents for the implementation of the construction and its concept (situation of the construction site, time progress of construction) - in coordination with the subjects TES2 and PŘS
- completion of project documentation to the specified scope
- elaboration of a seminar work on a selected theoretical topic, including compliance with the principles of elaboration of professional texts
13. Public presentation of the project. Credit.
