Course objectives:

The students
- will be taught about the classification of concrete, consistence of concrete, classes of resistance and mass
- will become familiar with the parameters of concrete and the used technology

Requirements on student
|
Requirements for credit:
The student will elaborate and hand in a semestral project.

Content
|
1st week: Concrete, plain and reinforced concrete, classification of concrete, types of special concretes.
2nd week: Technology of concrete. Calculation of a determined concrete mixture.
3rd week: Additives, admixtures.
4th week: Workability of a concrete mixture.
5th week: Possible procedures for the workability of a concrete mixture, work in extreme conditions.
6th week: Requirements for the single activities necessary for the production of concrete.
7the week: Alternative methods for the application of concrete ? air-placed concrete, application under water, application using bentonite clay, sliding form, rubble concrete.
8th week: Testing methods for hard concrete, destructive and non-destructive testing, testing the parameters of the structure.
9th week: Work diagram of concrete.
10th week: Changes in the volume of concrete, changes that depend on loads, independent changes.
11th week: Types of reinforcement, work diagrams, marking the reinforcement, coherence between concrete and steel, protection against corrosion.
12th week: Non-metallic reinforcement for concrete.
13th week: Special concretes, light concretes, waterproof concretes, self-compacting concretes, fiber-concrete, wire-reinforced concrete.

popsat pravidla přípravy betonové směsi a požadavky na jednotlivé činnosti při výrobě |
orientovat se ve zpracování čerstvého betonu na stavbě včetně zvláštních způsobů betonáže |
