The aim of this course is to familiarize students with significant issues of current geographical research and origin, development and present-day status of a geospatial revolution. Students will learn examples of up-to-date methods (and methodological processes) of geographical research. Intersections of Geography with other natural sciences will be demonstrated on global (natural as well as anthropogenic) issues. Significance of geographical topics for teaching and education of natural science will be presented.
