Course annotation CBG/GEO2 -IS/STAG

This course consists of three main parts: climatology, biogeography and pedogeography. The aims of the particular parts are to:
- familiarize students with basics of climatology: introducing issues of climate research, past climate changes and impact of climate on the other partial components of environment;
- familiarize students with issues of ecological biogeography: introducing patterns of distribution of plants and animals on the Earth and outline interactions between changes of natural conditions and the life distribution;
- acquaint students with pedogeography: introducing soil distribution on the Earth and interactions between changes of natural conditions and the soil distribution on the Earth.
