The course is based on the basic knowledge of English morphological system and aims at deepening the students' understanding and knowledge. The goal of the course is to extend the knowledge of the selected areas of English morphology. Special attention is paid primarily to interference phenomena which may pose difficulties to non-native speakers of English language. These include noun categories (determination, countability), determiners (quantifiers), verbs (classification, modals) and prepositions (forms, syntactic functions, adverbial particles). The emphasis will be put on the interconnection of the theoretic knowledge and the practical language use in communication situations in commercial field.
